Types of ARIA memberships:
Regular Members
Any regular member needs to provide a justification for membership in the form below - be it a proof of being a student, early career, or active in research of alexithymia or related disciplines.
a) Student Members
- Individuals who are enrolled in a doctoral program (e.g., PhD, part-time doctoral studies, or similar) in a field related to alexithymia.
- Master’s students may be admitted if they are recommended by a current ARIA member.
- Annual membership fee: €10
b) Early Career Members
- Individuals who have completed their doctorate or an equivalent degree within the past five years (e.g., postdoctoral researchers, early-career professionals with a focus related to alexithymia).
- Annual membership fee: €25
c) Research Members
- Individuals who hold a completed doctorate or an equivalent academic degree and who are primarily engaged in research, with publications in the field of alexithymia or related disciplines.
- Annual membership fee: €50
Associate Members
- Any individuals who support the goals of ARIA without being actively involved in alexithymia research.
- Associate members do not have voting rights at general assemblies or elections.
- Annual membership fee: €50
